On July 6th the Hat made its way down to what I consider one of Michigan's hidden gem, South Haven.  One thing I always think of is something that happened in 1950.  Northwest Airlines flight 2501 flew along the shoreline before disappearing over Lake Michigan.  It has never been located.  For more information read Fatal Crossing.
Walking around this city you get a feel of a sea side town like Boston. Only thing missing is fresh crab and lobster. The shops downtown have lots to offer.  Several different restaurants to eat at.  Take the time to check this Michigan gem out on a weekend. It is well worth your time.
