A revisit to Frankenmuth Mi, We where here a year ago and got chased by thunderstorms all weekend. Downtown was busy, it was hard to believe that a pandemic was happening with all the people walking around. It was nice to see that people are getting out and shopping.
Frankenmuth is located in Saginaw County and is an area of a city a little over three square miles. It is a town of Bavarian decent. The name Frankenmuth means "courage of the Franconians The towns nick name and little Bavaria, The city was founded in 1845 by Lutheran immigrants out of Germany. They are famous for Bronner's, the worlds largest Christmas ornament store. But they are also famous for the cheese factories that they have there.
Stop by and get a Christmas ornament with your name painted on it or maybe some great cheese. It is worth the stop.
