Grand Haven Pier

 This week's travel took us to Grand Haven. The weather was perfect for an adventure.  Grand Haven is located on northern Ottawa Co., and is the seat of the county. The summer mouths brings people to the downtown for shopping and others come for the beautiful lake swimming. Don't forget to get a Pronto Pup or a Pizza from Fricanos. Then before you head home top it off with an ice cream from one of the great ice cream shops.  

Grand Haven is also Coast Guard City U.S.A. With the annual Coast Guard Festival in August.  Thank you to all you Coasties out there. Keep our waterways safe.  

Cannonsburg Ski Resort

 This weekend the crew and I went to Kent County and we tubing at Cannonsburg. This place has been popular for years. Back in my teen age years my friends always went there skiing. In the summer you can go zip lining.  Worth the trip and the stop if you crave adventure. 

Snowshoe Michigan

 Took a little time off this weekend and did some snowshoeing with the team. Perfect conditions. New snow a foot plus deep and no few others on the trail. Broke the path open for others.
